The Fog

The strings now represent the water in the air, and the water it connects to. The fog slowly shifts and undulates. It lingers, barely perceptible, as a sailor dances in bars within the French Quarter. A loved one is home, across the world, in longing.

The lyrical content is based on Lee’s memories of the French Quarter and bars on Decatur St, where Greek sailors used to dance, while in port.

“I am on this river

and I am lost in longing

Fog horns sing sad songs lost in mist

Months have passed since last we kissed”
